Migrants test positive for Covid on bus heading for Singkhon checkpoint in Prachuap Khiri Khan

Twelve migrant workers from Myanmar have tested positive for Covid-19 and another eight are awaiting test results after a full bus was stopped in the night at the weekend heading for the border checkpoint of Singkhon in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

Mobile Commerce Bus service to help local communities

PHUKET: The Phuket office of the Ministry of Commerce has launched a scheme whereby a series of mobile buses will visit over 120 areas across the island to sell household necessities and consumer products at reduced prices.

People who test positive for COVID-19 using a rapid antigen test can now be immediately admitted for care under the home isolation program, said CCSA Assistant Spokeswoman Dr. Apisamai Srirangsan today (Monday).

Thailand’s Central Administrative Court asked to lift COVID-19 vaccine import restrictions

The Thai Mai Thon (Impatient Thais) political group lodged a petition with the Central Administrative Court today (Monday) asking it to hold an emergency hearing on COVID-19 vaccine procurement restrictions and to allow the private sector and local administration organizations to import alternative vaccines for use in Thailand.

Thai Industrial Estate Authority’s Revenue Increases 138% during First Nine Months

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) has revealed that its revenue, during the first nine months of fiscal 2021, increased by 138% year-on-year to 130 billion baht due to more investment in industrial estates, especially in technology to improve factory operations.

Thailand’s medical authorities want COVID-19 Patients to get Favipiravir Immediately

Over 57,000 Thai Medical Professionals Are Given Pfizer Booster Jabs

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand’s Department of Disease Control (DDC) has announced that more than 57,000 medical professionals, who had previously received two jabs of the Sinovac vaccine, were given a dose of Pfizer vaccine to boost their immunity between 4 - 7 August.

4-month-old Myanmar baby among 149 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday

A four-month-old Myanmar baby is among the 149 COVID-19 fatalities reported today 9 (Monday), 26 of whom also died from the virus at home, according to the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA).

Missing 89-year-old grandmother found deceased in woods after two day search in Chonburi, no foul play suspected

Nok Air Phuket - U-Tapao flights to continue
