More financial support approved in Thailand’s “Dark Red” provinces

 

 

The Thai cabinet, on Tuesday, approved a 33.47 billion baht budget to help about 6.69 million unemployed and freelance workers affected by the government’s partial lockdown restrictions, imposed in the 29 COVID-19 “Dark Red” provinces, said Government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Two coronavirus vaccines administered using a nasal spray being developed in Thailand are due to start human trials by the end of this year, after promising results in trials involving mice, a government official said on Wednesday.

Thai Rural Doctors Conclude COVID-19 Mass Testing Mission in Greater Bangkok

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand’s Rural Doctors Society (RDS) has completed its mission to help conduct COVID-19 mass testing on at least 50,000 people in 26 locations across Bangkok, Samut Prakan and Nakhon Pathom, with 10,357 people testing positive over the five-day period.

Top doctors want legal protection for Thai medics involved in handling COVID-19

Over 15,500 in Bangkok tested positive for COVID-19 with Antigen kits last week

 

 

15,588 people in Bangkok, tested positive for COVID-19 using Antigen Test Kits (ATK), out of 141,516 (11%) screened between August 4th and 9th, according to the Ministry of Public Health today (Wednesday).
