FYI - The UK has announced Thailand has been moved to the red list from Monday 30th August - this requires hotel quarantine.

Reportedly due to the prevalence of Beta variant which the vaccines struggle with.

 

We've been hanging off and off booking as I was expecting this - my Missus is desperate to get back to see her parents & old Nan', but this is the final nail in the coffin for us this year.

 

I know three guys  close to where I live who have Thai wives who they haven't seen for well over a year and it'll be the same for them I believe.   Luckily for me my wife is here.

 

Until they fully vaccinate in numbers they can forget any sandbox thoughts in reality - I know the UK is only small but I hope this gives them a kick up the backside as to how countries outside Thailand are perceiving the current situation.....

Ah well. Glad my old Mum and Dad can use Skype now.
