Crossy
Customs HS Code 8708.99.0000 "Parts And Accessories Of Motor Vehicles" will net you 30% duty plus 7% VAT on the CIF value ???? https://www.simplyduty.com/import-calculator/ You could ask the seller if they can do "Thailand Special Line" which is a China-Thailand bulk shipping system which somehow makes for zero payment at this end. I was offered it for a solar inverter, cost the same as FedEx but no duty or VAT to pay.

Courier companies are authorised to charge import duty, VAT which the government gets, and a small disbursement charge that they keep, nothing else. If a charge is not detailed on the receipt, it is not chargeable.
