Two Leopard Kittens Rescued After Being Found in Chaiyaphum Sugarcane Field
Picture courtesy of CH7. Two leopard kittens have been rescued after being found abandoned in a sugarcane field in Sub Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province. The kittens, both in good health, were handed over to wildlife authorities for care and rehabilitation. The discovery was reported on 7 February, by Nattaphasut Chotjirasirikul, the district chief of Sub Yai, who informed officers from the Bueng Lahan Wildlife Sanctuary about the presence of the young wild cats near Wat Sub Charoensuk in Moo 5, Sub Yai Subdistrict. Officials quickly responded and arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Upon inspection, two leopard kittens were found, appearing healthy and unharmed despite being separated from their mother. The Bueng Lahan Wildlife Sanctuary has now taken them into temporary care, ensuring they receive proper attention before being transferred to a wildlife breeding and rehabilitation centre. Officials noted that the kittens were discovered in a sugarcane plantation where burning had been prohibited, a measure that likely saved their lives. In many agricultural areas, fields are often cleared by fire, posing a significant threat to local wildlife. The absence of such practices in this area allowed the kittens to survive long enough to be rescued. Authorities expressed their gratitude to the concerned citizen and local residents who reported the discovery, highlighting the importance of community involvement in wildlife conservation. A few years ago j went to see a throat specialist I was in the waiting room when I saw this bloke with a hole in his throat ,he used a machine to talk Apparently he had to feed himself using a syringe into the throat I told the throat specialist doctor as soon as I walked in his room he seemed to be a Harry Potter lookalike obviously from a well to do family I said how do you keep a strong stomach looking at holes in throats , absolutely disgusting! I mean how do you do that job day after day looking at holes in throats and feeding tubes !!! Please -
