Im not really sure if I get what you mean..sorry. If you are asking why you go to a different site address when you leave out the "googleapps" part of the address, then its because that is not your domain name. That domain name ".com" will have been purchased by someone else.

If you want a ".com" address without the "googleapps" you will need to purchase one. I suggest www.godaddy.com for cheap domain names.

duno if that helps... =/

Thankyou for your reply.i bought the domain name www.puuchaigay.com from googleapps, they buy the domain name from go daddy.but the actual web address became http://www.puuchaigay.com-a.googlepages.com/home but i thought i would be without the googlepages/home on the end of it.so it's how to get a website without that on the end is what i am trying to find out.maybe if i bought a site direct from godaddy it would just end in .com

Thankyou very much eek, when i first made the site there was no way it would go there without the google part, and no it wasn't a way to push interest to the site, but all wells that ends well i can go to the site as you say,so thanks again.

It will only last as long as it is not blocked by the ISP/ICTand from what I have read here on TV the mods always ban posts as they say "the authroties read this web site all the time" so I suspect it will not be long until your marketing ploy backfires (pun intended)

Thanks for the vote,i totaly agree,i have no experience of making a website whatsoever,it was just a trial and getting the name registered, and can be changed to look good in the future.
