They just want to ensure more restaurants go broke. I won't be dining out if I have to show proof to eat. Why didn't they start this for people entering supermarkets where you can enjoy the company of hundreds of other unvaccinated people?

So far I have only heard of a single issue over this... someone claiming they were asked for a vaccination cert. in a KFC in Rayong I think it was.... well that was obviously premature and it did sound like the guy gave them a load of cry baby attitude.

I still don't expect this to come about... just too difficult to administer and my sympathy would be with the establishments having this forced upon them. They would be the front line of all the 'be difficult' attitude examples I see here. Most of those over 60 Pattaya Expats should have been double jabbed by then (1st Oct), the younger ones getting done, unless they have been sat on their asses. My Thai Mrs will have too... so no concern anyhow.

More an issue is them being forced to close at 8pm, and not serve a few beers with food, that is hitting their earning potential, and reason one place I like has not reopened yet.

plenty of 7/11 open - pot noodle anyone lol

I buy meals at 7/11. Salads and fruit too. You mustn't have been to a 7Eleven for a decade as the days of only pot noodles are long past. My local 7/11 even has a selection of vegetables and hot pot ingredients.

Never heard of Richard Barrow, so I googled, and it appears he is a blogger, so why is anyone saying that his opinion means anything at all in Thailand? Is he an adviser to the PM or something?

He was quoting an official statement. Which he does a lot.
