Where going for a settlement visa.

Is it a VAF 2 form i need to download? also what form do i need to download regarding information on this?

A settlement fiance, a settlement spouse or a settlement civil partner form?

For a settlement visa you submit form VAF2. The link on guidance was given in your previous thread including the link to sponsors notes.

Is she your wife (spouse), your fiancee or just a long term partner?. The form is the same anyway.

Good luck with it Scotty, remember better to give them more than they ask regarding proof and paperwork rather than skimp on it. There is also Robs Guide which is pinned at the top of this forum which may help (I haven't read it!). Come back and ask if you have problems.

Well you've been to Thailand 3 times in a year to see her, married her to show commitment, you regularly support her finances, have proof of your relationship and sponsorship over the entire period. Have a job in UK, have a place to stay.......I would say. whilst not a dead cert you have a fair to pretty good chance of being successful. It's not my shout though and there have sometimes been some odd decisions.

Your mum will need to write a letter to offer you both a place to stay and prove that she owns or rents or mortgages the place and if rented that the landlord will permit you to stay and state that there is sufficient space in the house to house you.

Your wife may be granted the visa without an interview but if she is required to attend an interview be entirely honest as they will ask how you met etc.

Of course you can. Do you think everyone who's ever met in a bar is unacceptable? What's more important is how your relationship has developed since then. Can you show vacations together? Joint accounts? Joints assets? Joint rental agreements? Proof of support like wire transfer receipts and emails explaining the circumstances?

Love isn't confined to introductions at church gatherings.
