The investigation into the alleged murder of a drug suspect by seven then-police officers in the northern province of Nakhon Sawan is expected to wrap up within September, said Crime Suppression Division (CSD) Deputy Commander Pol Col Anek Taosuparb Tuesday.

 

Interrogations of involved parties and witnesses are also expected to conclude by next week, said Pol Col Anek, who assured the public justice will be served.

 

“We can bring the accused to justice. All the witness accounts, video and other evidence, as well as the perpetrators’ admission they were the ones in the (leaked) video all align. There is nothing to worry about,” he said.

You would think that with this high profile of a case, statements would come from high up. Unless, something should happen that exonorates the guilty party, then the Pol. Col. shall be falling on the sword as they say. 

The RTP should be able to concluce the case tomorrow given that Joe Ferrari was following the Standard Opeeating Procedures and behaviours that were set down by previous generations of the RTP and dutifully followed by the current generation of the RTP. 

 

Joe Ferrari will now become a fallen hero, whose priciples and ethics will inspire future generations of the RTP.

Far to quick an investigation even if he admits it. Where do the money trails run to? I can see something going wrong.

I may be mistaken but I remember reading that he got his money because a cop apprehending someone who acquired assets in an illegal manner gets 40% of the value as a reward. How do they get money when they confiscate recreational drugs? They wouldn't sell them would they?

So who gets the 40% of the cop's $2 million? Hint: I have my hand raised. 5555

 

Of course just as that high government official explained away his dozens of expensive watches by saying he borrowed them, maybe Lambo, er Ferrari, borrowed his assets. : )  Then who gets the brown envelope??

Maybe he should be appointed justice minister to join the ranks of his fellow black sheep, Thammanat.

Why is the government / police / immigration always taking these useless photos? It’s like they’re saying “Look, we did something useful! Look at us world, we’re big boys now!”

 

They are obsessed with taking these pictures like it’s some huge accomplishment. Wow, you did your job like you are supposed to, here’s a medal for you, make sure to get a photo of it!
