Accident Tragic Discovery in Phuket: Missing Woman Found in Canal
Pictures courtesy of The Phuket News A serene afternoon in Phuket tragically ended with the discovery of a 72-year-old woman's body in the Bang Yai Canal, over a day after she was reported missing. The elderly woman, identified as Yenjit Pae-Uai, was last seen on June 11, prompting her family to alert authorities amidst concerns she might have fallen into the canal in Phuket Town. Rescue teams from the Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation reacted promptly, discovering Yenjit's shoes abandoned on the canal bank, which pointed to a potential accident. Despite strong currents and challenging visibility, over 10 personnel initiated a search. However, the operation was suspended at nightfall due to the perilous conditions. Efforts resumed the following day, with the dive team determined to find her. Sadly, Yenjit's body was located at around 2:18 pm near an insurance office opposite Phuket Wittayalai School, as reported by The Phuket News. Her remains were subsequently transported to Vachira Phuket Hospital. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of her fall into the canal. The Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation expressed heartfelt condolences to Yenjit's family and commended the unwavering efforts of all emergency responders and volunteers involved in the recovery operation. I am hearing that Bangkok Bank have now stopped dealing with agents for retirement extension renewals as per my topic a few months ago, including Maneerat. Has anyone heard the same. This is very recent. -
