overherebc
On the back of the form it has a part saying 'must attend in person unless disabled'. Anyone got any idea how disabled you have to be for non-attendance?
ubonjoe
Basically it means you are unable to travel to immigration to apply for a extension.
IvorBiggun2
Get a doctors note confirming why you can't attend in person. You'll probably get a home visit.

If unable to travel to immigration somebody else can do the extension for you. No home visit needed.

He got a home visit but I'd imagine it all boils down to which office one comes under.
IvorBiggun2
Eye opening comment on http://www.samutprakanimmigration.go.th/frequently-asked-questions/. Quote If you are sick or receiving treatment at a hospital, you can send someone on your behalf to renew extension of stay. But, you will need to get a doctor’s certificate to show the Immigration officer. Please note, if you overstay you will still need to pay the 500 Baht per day fine even if you have a doctor’s certificate.
