Those who test positive but are asymptomatic will be sent into the home-isolation system, while symptomatic patients will be admitted to hospital.” Yongyos said with these tests, tourists visiting under the Phuket Sandbox scheme can rest assured they are safe from contracting Covid-19 from locals. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40006385 What about BKK then? 25,000 represents around 1/3 of the population of Phuket. Only Pokemon wandering around The Matrix seriously believes vaccinations don't make a huge difference. That's a dangerous and irresponsible message for you lockdown fanatics to be sending out. Vaccinations at this point do not explain much of Thailand's slow decline in cases. The most vaccinated provinces still have elevated case rates. What's more, many, many people have received second-rate vaccines. The restrictions (such as they are) explain Thailand's slow decline in cases. Lockdowns -- even semi-lockdowns -- work. And thankfully, the government is backing down on its ill-conceived "plan" -- championed by the mindless COVID deniers here -- of simply opening everything up and watching what happens while grinning. The COVID-deniers will simply have to learn to live with semi-lockdowns for several more months to come. 1

Bkk Brian
Thailand’s senior virologist has suggested that those aged 12-17 should be given just one mRNA vaccine dose, to reduce the risk of heart muscle inflammation or myocarditis. Dr Yong disclosed that myocarditis is mostly commonly found in vaccinated people who had received two doses of an mRNA vaccine, so health officials in the UK, Sweden and Hong Kong have recommended only one mRNA dose for youngsters, even though a single dose does not boost immunity sufficiently. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/senior-doctor-recommends-one-mrna-vaccine-jab-for-youths-to-reduce-myocarditis-risk/

How do you explain this. Also I would love to see you support your arguement as to the asymptomatic part of this disease being linked to the immune system and not part of the nature of this virus. You also seem to miss the very well known fact that asymptomatic people spread the virus just like pre-symptomatic and symptomatic. It's being said that everyone will get the virus. Not sure if that's true but I for one would rather be vaccinated to protect both myself and others. This disease quite obviously affects more than just the at risk sector of the population. To deny this with the mountain of evidence is something I just cannot comprehend. Bit like anti-maskers. The jury is well and truly in but some still say they don't work. Having said all this a healthy immune system is beneficial for a whole range of things but will not protect you from catching and spreading the virus and will not protect you from serious illness or death as much as vaccines will.
