A simple topic where someone asks for advice or whatever and responses are mostly ridicule, insulting, accusing the OP of lying, is saying "x", is not sayingyx", has a hidden agenda,, or is being paid to post, and more. The autopsy of every word or looking for hidden meaning is just bizarre What happened here and why is everything seemingly totally over analyzed and disected like that ? Sure as hell put me off posting what I wanted for fear of being attacked, so instead posed this question. Anyway, I haven't seen anything different since before world news was eliminated, except certain posters from there are now lurking on other subforums IMO looking for someone to attack. I use the forum to try to keep up with current events in LOS and learn from questions /experiences of others. I try really hard to simply ignore all the negativity and bickering. This remains the best forum for Thailand but as noted it has lost a lot of posters due to various reasons this year and some of the new blood has indeed not exactly been helpful. But this seems to be the internet - every decade or so new communication paths open and old ones start to die.
