CCSA operations centre proposes more easing of restrictions in COVID-19 “dark red” provinces

The operations centre of Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has agreed on further easing of lockdown restrictions in “dark red” provinces, including the adjustment of curfew hours and shortening mandatory quarantine for fully inoculated foreign arrivals.

Busarakam field hospital officially closed after last patients discharged

Eastern Thai Hotels Association discusses opening for foreign vaccinated tourists without quarantine in Pattaya likely being postponed to November 1st

The President of the Eastern Thai Hotels Association, in a discussion with Thai media yesterday, September 22nd, said the association is prepared for the likely announcement that opening for vaccinated foreign tourists in Pattaya will be postponed to November 1st.

Chulabhorn hospital seeking pregnant volunteers for research into COVID-19 post-inoculation effects on mothers and babies

Thai FDA changes rules to make antigen test kits more available and cheaper

Antigen rapid test kits (ATKs) for home use will become more easily available in stores and at more affordable prices after an announcement in the Royal Gazette, expected next week, of a new regulation from the Thai Food and Drug Administration (TFDA).

Motorcycle sales rise along with growing farmers’ revenue

Thai government launches emergency plan to reduce flood disasters

Following a wave of floods that swept the Thai capital, Bangkok, with the water level reaching one meter after several hours of heavy rain, General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence plan has ordered the deployment of water pumps to drain the canals in the city, as well as the removal of rubbish and weeds to improve the drainage canals.
