BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's economy is still expected to grow 1.3% this year and the government is maintaining a target of 4-5% growth next year as it makes a push to revitalise the economy through measures, the finance minister said on Monday.

PHUKET: A gang claiming to rent cars for business involving a large cannabis operation in Phuket is wanted for stealing 10 rental vehicles, cars and vans, after renting them from local car rental operators and not returning them.

Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) decided on Monday (September 27th) to extend the nationwide State of Emergency to the end of November, but ease some of the partial lockdown measures effective October 1st, including shortening the quarantine period for those fully vaccinated to 7 days, and shortening the night-time curfew in the “dark red” provinces to 10pm – 4am for at least 15 days.
