Educational centres and entertainment sites are allowed to operate, but must keep within restricted capacity

Thailand's COVID-19 Information Centre, which is part of the Public Relations Department, released a revised "relaxed" list of businesses that can operate in dark-red zones. This also includes standard operating measures (SOPs) which "were approved after the meeting of the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration."

As a reminder, provinces in dark-red zones are: Bangkok, Kanchanaburi Chonburi Chachoengsao, Tak, Nakhon Pathom, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Narathiwat, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachinburi, Pattani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Phetchaburi, Phetchabun, Yala, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Lopburi, Songkhla, Singburi, Samut Prakan, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Saraburi Suphanburi, and Ang Thong.

With that, these businesses can operate with the following SOPs:

Child development centre and preschools.

"It can be operated but must be considered by the Provincial Communicable Disease Committee and the Bangkok Communicable Disease Committee by the Ministry of Public Health," the Information Centre stated.

There's a restaurant near me that always had live bands playing, obviously been quiet this year.

The funny thing is they never started to play until 9pm...

I guess now they'll do the warm-up and then go home?

Reality is, more of a nightclub really.

Yep.

Used to be closed all day, open around 6pm for light meals.

The band would turn-up at 8pm, set-up and start playing from 9pm to around 1am-2am

A bar in disguise indeed. [after 10pm you couldn't get any food]

Completely crazy, the main thing is that no one understands anything anymore. Whether these measures make sense?
Not for your health, but certainly to control the future sheep.

Please stop trying to include others in your ravings.... the methods may well be unpopular, but are producing the desired results.

Ah, yes. The good old days when these types of venues would be rousing way into the wee hours of the morning - even past 2-3am.
