SUKHOTHAI, Nov 19 (TNA) – Authorities in Sukhothai province organized their Loy Krathong festival in a new normal style while continuing to present the World Heritage status of its archaeological site.

 

Visitors to the Sukhothai Historical Park, the World Heritage venue of the Loy Krathong festival in the northern province, must have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and registered for e-tickets in advance.

 

At the entrance of the venue, visitors must show the QR codes they received from their prior registration.

Or the alternative option like my neighbours had, invite all the extended family round for food & drink at home and party all night. no masks and no social distancing.

These social activities have been engaged in for some time here during the Covid Era - and yet, no evidence of the dreaded and fabricated spikes.

If you lived in Old City Sukhothai you would know that is not the case Song Khran cause a big problem.

So far Loy Katong hasn't but it wasn't so busy, hope it stays that way.
