Map Making Software

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of some software that can create zoomable, clickable maps that can be exported for use on a web page. Preferably with the ability to add hotspots you can click for more detail/information?

I'm trying not to have to resort to flash.

Thanks in advance.

I have used microsoft mappoint for UK applications found it easy to use and has loads of features, expensive though. Think I paid close on £500 in 2004. Thai maps are limited outside the major cities. Not sure if they have specific Asian maps you can install.

Exports easily to webpages. Main use I had was the statistical data incorporated within the app. API is easy to learn.

Thanks dsys, I'll look that up next time, I spent 4 hours last night putting the darn thing together using flash (which I hate), wish I had seen this post sooner :o
