As of today ( i think ) UK only requires ATK test for arrivals. So you can confirm that a PCR Test is not required to leave Thailand.

I was in Pattaya a few days and found it so amazing how many different uniformed pompous you see. And what is Pattaya "Special Affairs" seen on pickups? Add MOPH to the collection: Ministry of Public Health. I saw DOPA raid tree town last year and DRAT..using drones in beaches last year

How could be have been 'incarcerated immediately', there is a turnaround time for RT-PCT analysis and you're normally told to return the following day for certificate?? He had to do an ATK to get in the door.

I live close by to one establishment on the Darkside and have seen then swabs out testing customers before they enter. Cannot comment on all darkside eateries and their vigilance of enforcement but have also notice a few on facebook saying they have closed again for dine in as they refuse to test customers upon entry nor test staff daily.

Tested positive, incarcerated immediately at the hospital with a 10 day sentence, 4k for an extension visa of some sort, unknown hospital bill and his insurance is baulking. Rearranging flights and documentation is a nightmare as he's computer illiterate. Food is terrible, no visitors, he's at his wit's ends. He's fit as a fiddle physically, mentally distraught and confused. He should probably be on suicide watch. I warned of this several times, running around Pattaya packed bars the last 2 weeks throwing caution to the wind with a ## it attitude has got him exactly where he is - no sympathy whatsoever
