The CHR. I think it looks cool. 1.8l engine.

To me - this says "young lad" and looks pretty cool.

That looks like TBN at Paseo. We might be neighbours as I live in Perfect Place! ????

btw - Mrs bought her Yaris Cross in there - I've been pleased with the service from the garage (although not sure about the paint quality as it seems to chip pretty easily) and yes she has dinked it loads.

Sister-in-law just bought a new Yaris 50th anniversary at Toyota Phumpattana which is about 10 minutes away - good service there too.

Real music is drumless... And the girl likes organs.

Well - that's the most ludicrous thing posted today.

The royal symphony orchestra, all opera - it's all not real music because it has percussion?

You've trolled, you tried, you fell on your face. Drums have been around since 5000 BC. Almost as old as the aging sexpat.

A new car?? surely not, but a second hand one as new drivers have no experience to take part in the traffic and scatches and minor accidents will happen... An older car is not a problem and cheaper to repair....

He's had a "banger rental" for 3 months now - not a scratch. So he should be ok, except for the usual motorbike dings going through downtown traffic.

I think the repair costs are not the point in this thread.   ????

Now what reasonable car would I like at 19 here in LOS that looks OK..????

Hmmmmm, weeeell, reasonably priced, it would have to be smallish, small overheads, cheap to run, the girls will be OK with it, so I think it would come down to this.......The 2023 Suzuki Swift....

Here she is.

Good thing is, he's able to take his little sister out and does so once a week.

Its a nice little starter car imo. Good visibility, not too wide and can get a mattress in the back...
