State of Emergency Extended, Orange Zones Cut to 44

BANGKOK, Jan 20 (TNA) – The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration agreed with the extension of the state of emergency for two months and reduced the number of COVID-19 control provinces to 44 from Jan 24 onwards.

 

CCSA spokesman Taweesilp Visanuyothin said the state of emergency would be extended for the 16th time to remain valid from Feb 1 to March 31 to control COVID-19.

 

The center also decided to reduce the number of COVID control-zone provinces or orange zones from 69 to 44 and declared 25 provinces close surveillance zones (yellow zones) according to local COVID-19 situations.

I came on non-immO which expires on 7 March. Can I apply for this Covid ext. or do I need to apply for an ext. of non-imm O? If latter, what do I need to provide?

Extended to prevent covid, it never stopped the virus but stopped people protesting against the incompetent governments handling of the pandemic.

A blatant anti democracy act due to the incumbents fear of the people and their fragile ego's are unable to cope with criticism.

Does anyone know if such a declaration impacts "Travel Insurance"?

 

I looked at one policy and saw this:

 

A declaration of a state of emergency is not a covered reason under our standard Trip Cancellation or Interruption.

Depends on how long you wish to stay here,
