Stroke care & rehab in Chanthaburi?

Featured Replies

Anyone aware of any after-stroke care & rehab facility in Chanthaburi province? Person with stroke received first emergency care at Trat Hospital, but they're not the typical gov't hospital it seems, they lack everything.

Any insights appreciated.

The largest government hospital in Chanthaburi is Prapokklao Hospital. They treat stroke patients there. My father-in-law was treated there after a very serious stroke and they did a good job to keep him alive.

For private hospitals, there is a branch of Bangkok Hospital in Chanthaburi if cost is not an issue.

Hope this helps.

Good advice Paul.

I've been impressed with the Docs in that Dept. at BKKH Chantaburi and I hear good of the Public Hospital too.

Good luck to your 'Patient' Heiri. ATB
