"Plus at least US$50,000 of COVID-19 insurance cover. Expat residents covered by Thailand’s public healthcare schemes are not required to buy insurance".

We all understand that Insurance is required for application to 'Thailand Pass' and this can be the specially $50k insurance purchased for at least 30 days (possibly longer), or expat resident coverage as per the above paragraph from the 'Thailand pass' info.

BUT something that I believe hasn't been covered is the Health insurance that thousands of expats hold on a yearly basis from insurance companies like Aetna, Pac Cross, AIA, AXA etc, and whether by uploading your policy into your Thailand Pass application, this will be recognised as sufficient (obviously your health coverage on your Health policy would need to cover the $50k per claim, which would mean a coverage of probably 2 million baht).

(Possibly a separate letter from your insurer stating that Covid coverage is covered in the policy??).

Any ideas on this, or personal experience.
