Extension of APEC Visa in 2022

Currently I am in Thailand with a 90 days APEC entry visa which is about to expire.

Does anyone know how I can extend my stay for an additional 30 or 60 days without leaving the country ?

I heard it's possible to get a 30 days extension ??? How ???

Is it necessary to get a letter from my Embassy before going to the immigration? If so , what should be the content of the letter ?

You should be able to apply for 60 day covid 19 extension at immigration.

A letter from you embassy is not required. You will complete and sign a affidavit stating the reason for your extension.
