Daily News Thai Caption: I didn't mean it

A videoed drama in Bangkok ended in wais and three crimanal charges, reported Daily News.

A man called Nathaphon, 35, had attacked a taxi driver called Wichai after he said the cabby didn't put on his indicator.

In the cab was Ploen, 31 and her two and seven year old kids.

Ploen went on social media after reporting to Huay Khwang police and being told they wouldn't accept the case because she wasn't directly involved.

Later Wichai the driver showed up to say he wasn't bothered about reporting it at first as he was only slightly injured with a few bruises.

The social media storm seemed to have changed his mind.

Finally the assailant turned up at the police station to say he didn't mean to do it.

He was just drunk and out shopping for more booze.

He gave Ploen a few wais and the lady handed out a few admonishments.

The police handed out three charges - assault, scaring people and being drunk and disorderly.

How was the lady and her children NOT involved?

They must have been shocked and scared by this idiots behaviour, and endangerment.

Lazy policing again

Luckily he wasn't done for drink driving then, wasn't he. The RTP with their finger on the pulse yet again.

Where did you read he was driving?

It's an assumption one is forced to make from very poor standards of reporting.

He was either driving or riding another vehicle and got upset because the taxi manoeuvred in front of him (cutting him off)...

... Or... he’s an even bigger nutcase walking the streets attacking drivers who don’t use an indicator !!

A Thaivisa poster with his finger on the pulse, again.  There's no report of the attacker driving anything except his fist.
