I'd like to go to Mainland China very soon with my Thai girlfriend. Whats the process and cost for us to get Visa's? Automatic approval? I'm American.

What if we wanted to move there after we come back? Could she get a 6 month or more visa? I assume I could but how does that work exactly?

Neither of us plan to work there or go to school, so it'd be like a long term holiday.
