Germany seized Alisher Usmanov’s 600 million dollar mega-yacht. If they start doing that to all those billionaires, I’m betting Putin will quite soon meet with an unfortunate accident or something.

It’s also been said, the first casualty of war is truth.

I can tell by the way all the people interviewed are reading scripts.

Why do people not say what they think anymore?

Despite an initial battle plan that Western countries said was aimed at swiftly toppling the Kyiv government, Russia has captured only one Ukrainian city so far

Been saying it won't go well from the beginning and real truth of what's happening on either side doesn't get reported, Ukraine should surrender resistance is futile.

who would have imagined that Russia could ever have overwhelmed Ukraine with its superior military forces!

As for a surrender, no, Russia should agree to humanitarian corridors as asked for by Ukraine to allow the refugees to leave safely rather than getting killed, those that want to stay on and fight or die will do so.

Either that or Russia should agree to a cease fire and get this sorted by dialog, not murder.

Oh look, another ‘capitulation’ post.

The Ukrainians are still free to make their own decisions, many clearly value their freedom more than their own lives.

Shall we conclude things are not going well for Russia?

The flow of pictures of destroyed or abandoned Russian equipment also seems to have ebbed out on Twitter. Also, the Russian 40 mile convoy have been parked in plain view for 4 days without and probing by the Ukrainians.

The Ukrainian army is probably also running on fumes by now.

Or they see it as a baited trap.

Putin trying to involve India and china by creating false hostage situations and that Ukraine shooting at foreign students. Saw his latest press conference, and he seems fit as always and continue his speech about Ukrainians and Russians are the same people sharing same culture and history. The Ukrainians have been controlled and led or misled by the neo Nazis.

Yep, that's how it is and that why 10 000 of people have to die now in the war! Sorry the freedom operations, free Ukrainians, since I do not want to be on Putin's hit list by saying war!

Is he Crazy? Well, no normal man or woman would be able to lead a huge country like Russia and also be willing to go to war on false premisses.

Does it ring a bell? (Sorry, being ironic)

With Europe's largest Nuclear power plant now on fire in the Ukraine due to continued shelling by the Russians a new phase of this war has emerged that not only does Putin not care about missile attacks in residential areas and schools but also is prepared to create a nuclear disaster in a country he is claiming belongs to Russia.

In war there is no laws as long you winning, or you are the surpressed one War is terror, and most of all a mindgame to confuse and weaken your enemy, let them start doubting what they do for what reason!

You want to win by any price and do whatever it takes.

From Norway it is reported at least 200 who are ready to leave to fight for Ukraine. I'm glad I'm older and wiser

Here's how the Austrian preser V.d.Bellen broke it down yesterday evening:

"The problem now is that we are not clear about the russian goal here, rather putins goal, as none of the possible versions show any sign of peace coming back to Ukraine. I've just talked to several countries leaders who all got the same problem:

'Did putin change, what's the reasoning for doing what he does? Can we still talk, to whom ...?'

This has become a very opaque system all of a sudden where for example foreign minister Lavrov seems to no longer belong to the inner circle - this makes the situation even more complicated ..."

There's not much more that NATO can do or this war will go nuclear at the drop of a hat. Europe and much of the USA will be flattened. As BKK observed, another Chernobyl  is imminent as the Russians are shelling Ukraine's largest nuclear power station.

Zelinskiy is unlikely to survive the onslaught of Kiev. Of course the Ukrainians will fight on as they can, but Ukraine is not Afghanistan. The terrain is not so accommodating and the cultural background very different. Ukraine's previous PM was interviewed on Sky this morning - toting a powerful pistol and an automatic weapon at his side.

Putin will never relent so all we can hope for is his demise. Germany HAS to stop buying Russian oil and gas NOW and the sanctions should be confirmed to be of indefinite duration. Outside Putin's lunatic circle, many Russians in the military and other enlightened elites, know that Putin has to go - preferably in hail of bullets.

It's hard to watch Ukraine's people suffering without tears in the eyes. A plague on these murderous Russian monsters and let's hope the majority of good Russian people can soon have their Country back.
