Hi all,

Just wanted to find out when the Embassy tells the applicant they will have to come for an interview?

Will they call and set a date and time before they collect their passport?

Or will they know once they have collected their passport or will it be after they have collected their passport?

My GF is waiting to collect her passport, but she has not received any calls, yet!!

Any advice would be appreciated..

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Application for the GF's VV went in via the GDA centre in Udon Thani last Monday (4th) - good job we made the application before the new rules regarding the GDA applications kicked in ! She had a call (and a bit of a grilling apparently) from the embassy last Thursday and we are now just waiting for the outcome. I'm working on the basis that no news is good news (i.e. she hasn't been called for interview), and am hoping that we get a positive response sometime soon.

If your Gf is required to attend an interview they will call her and let her know this, you can also check on the uk vac website by clicking the link below and select the track your application tab, then enter your reference number and passport number
