Famed Thai cop ‘Big Joke’ visits Pranburi in wake of billion baht human trafficking case

Police Lieutenant General Surachate Hakparn visited Pranburi Police Station this week to follow up on a human trafficking case which has resulted in the seizure of more than one billion baht in cash and assets.

 

Assistant Commissioner Lt. Gen. Hakparn, who is more commonly known by his nickname, ‘Big Joke’, oversees Thailand’s Anti-Human Trafficking Centre.

He was in Pranburi attended a press conference to report on the case which has resulted in arrests across four provinces and the seizure of huge sums of money and assets.

 

The case dates back to June 2019 when police in Nakhon Si Thammarat arrested a group of illegal foreign workers from Myanmar.

The only fame this clown has is based on hogging the spotlight. He heard there was going to be a press conference, which is something that causes him great pain to miss. Plus, he heard there was alot of cash involved. He could not solve a crime if it bit him on the foot. 

 

He caused the RTP such humiliation years ago, with his foolishness and racism, that he was banished. Some MIT trained genius decided to bring him back from exile. Why, nobody knows.

Only a casual observer but it seems to me there has been more movement (for lack of a better word) on the Rohingya traffickers since BJ was appointed to this role than in all the years before.  Something to be said for that.

I am surprised that not those workers were thrown into jail and the keys thrown out over the "billion" Baht business. Trust me, a serious bigwig must be behind such an operation and the article here is nothing but a decorated photo-op by BJ ????   Next please .......
