jonga80
Hi, can I have internet at home without permanence? Which are the options. I always see those one year contracts.
userabcd
Suggest a 4g router and a 1 year unlimit sim card with true or dtac for about 1790 baht. True have 15Mbps dl and dtac have 20Mbps dl speeds. If you can pickup signal of TOT/NT network in your area then can get 4G unlimited sim 1 year for 999 baht for 30 to 40 Mbps dl. 4G Router tp link mr100 about 1450 Baht.

mtls2005
Define lack of permanence? 1 month, 2 months, 9 months? Usage (GB), Speed Mbps, budget, applications, how many devices? Do you rent? Can you "See" any nearby paid WiFi service providers? Edited March 17, 2022 by mtls2005

Of course all of this is location dependent. A SIM is capped to 20 Mbps does not guarantee that 20 Mbps will be available to you. Best to test with a normal 50 baht SIM before committing to paying for a year in advance. All networks currently offer unlimited 30 Mbps on a monthly basis for under 270 baht per month. The question is whether they can supply that at your particular location and furthermore via a single band, as the router you suggested is not capable of carrier aggregation. Both Truemove H and DTAC can only supply around 4 Mbps at my location. AIS 15 - 20 Mbps. So springing for a one year DTAC deal would limit my capability. Test first, then decide. FriendlyFarang
If mobile internet / hotspot is not sufficient, then I think this is the only option without a contract: https://www.ais.th/fibre/nocontract/en/
