Popular Post ChaiyaTH
The bank guarantee is kind of worthless, only helps during minor recessions and we are not looking at a minor one if it comes. Housing market, stocks, all of it will come down at once, so you might still have 100K USD protected but it will be worth like 5K compared to today's buying power. If you ask me, the most important thing is to have your own home with the ability to generate both energy and drinking water + a huge stock of things like medicine. Money will just be good to burn and stay warm if considering such extremes. The real plan however is to crash all, start a share holder economy and pay people basic income straight from the central bank. Enjoy your wealth now, the future isn't like today. If you buy and hold MSCI world ETFs you are on the safe side. However you have to keep them a longer time (5-10y). Over all I gained 6% the last 8,5 years. Don Chance
We are not in a recession yet. And may not be. Canada ETF look good they are heavy in Banks, which are good value and commodities that are set to rise. The Canadian dollar might rise 10-20% Check TSE: HXU China stock are cheap now. Other than that good value dividend stock in the US or Europe. Watch out for taxes though on dividends. Check out Altria Group Inc, is a tobacco company that might sky rocket if weed is legalize in the USA, but it is still good dividend stock right now anyways.
