Pattaya, Thailand-Pattaya police have provided an update to TPN media regarding a popular story this morning about a foreign tourist who was involved in an altercation in front of a lounge and restaurant on Pratumnak Soi 5.

First, get caught up with the story by reading it below.

https://thepattayanews.com/2022/03/27/foreign-tourist-seriously-injured-after-alleged-altercation-at-pratumnak-soi-5-restaurant/

According to the superintendent of the Pattaya Police station, Pol. Col. Kullachart Kullachai, the tourist was a 47-year-old Finnish man. TPN media has decided to withhold the name of the man at this time as the case was still under final investigation.

Yes, another drunk tourist.

Happens all the time, since birth of christ, tourist getting drunk and misbehaving in Pattaya.

Sadly it was Pratumnak soi 5, this is one of the better locations, full of trendies, retirees living their lives peacefully.

I ride past frequently, it has a population of exercise enthusiasts, walking, jogging and bicycle riding.

The area is full of nice restaurants, heaps of yuppies spending their money.

It's sad to see this fool tourists showing his disrespect to the community.

Go home, come back when you grow up.

What a load of <deleted>... have you never been drinking all your life? Never done anything outside the norm, never something that you were not proud of? Then maybe you didn't have a life at all...

Tourist seems to be getting the blame.... probably deserved a slap..... but this is OTT. Security should not be a gang of bully boys meting out such beatings. If they do, they should pay hospital costs.

Whisk him off to a hospital - he'll sober up when he sees the bill and i doubt he'll drink after that shock

I thought that someone had dug out a photograph of me in my 30s, then I realised that I was never that skinny.

I've had my bad nights. I've had a few times where I had to be carried out. These were mostly in my 20's. Since then I learned to give it a rest before it gets that bad, not wanting to embarrass myself or become a burden on others. In these states I've also been told I get bit slow, incoherent, and perhaps silly, but not aggressive and uncooperative. It's these guys who shouldn't be drinking in public. I've unfortunately been in the company of such folks who I've had to stop spending my nights with.

Prawit, AKA General Rolex, should have done the same to save giving 'back' his collection to a dead friend.

I want to go to Pattaya and drink seltzer water

said NOBODY ever.

Pattaya is for the deep, dark demented souls who enjoy a 3rd world country on 100 cocktails and probing the inner working of the 9th circle of H  E   double hockey sticks.

Unfortunately, they soon realize there are 1 million CTV cameras and it's not a primitive as first thought.

good for this guy...if you are going to do Pattaya, do it right.

and go home with 197 different versions of AIDS and tell your stories to your 87 grandchildren.

Well, I for one have never become incapable through drink, nor tried to pick a fight with everyone in sight, nor been ejected from a bar. Your experience might be different.

Notice how you're fabricating a story.   The mask is "protecting" the shirt cuff, he doesn't appear to be wearing any kind of timepiece, never mind an expensive one.

What ever would the Thai Media make of a Friday or Saturday night in Newcastle or Glasgow or London or Bristol, or any one of a Thousand small Market Towns all across the British Isles.

I very much doubt that its much better elsewhere in the EU or any other Country.

OK i'll say it; he is finished.

You have a bizarre idea of what "having a life" entails.   Being a belligerent drunk and ending up spread-eagled, bloodied and apparently semi-conscious in the middle of the road sure wouldn't be most mature people's idea.

I'd guess that the huge majority of normal people would never dream of doing anywhere as daft as that Finns stupid actions that you seem to be condoning.
