Relevant agencies are urged to properly and efficiently dispose of waste in order to ensure public safety. Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said he was concerned about the management of waste contaminated with nasal mucus, sputum, saliva and blood. Face masks and antigen test kits have contributed significantly to increasing amounts of infectious waste. The prime minister has instructed responsible agencies to maintain efficient operations. Gen Prayut also asked the Ministry of Health to inform COVID patients undergoing home isolation about waste sorting procedures. Each bag containing infectious waste should be clearly marked so garbage handlers are able to take the necessary precautions. Why just infectious waste, what about the tons of stinking daily waste that lines every street. Maybe because the "infectious waste" doesn't stay infectious for a long time and in reality infects almost nobody! If the Infected Waste cannot be mixed with other Waste, where are all the Toxic waste Bins for the correct and safe disposal. Despite having 2,000,000 baht garbage truck the village elders we're pocketing the money distributed for garage collection and just dumping the waist inon some government property in the forest for the last 10 years.
