On Thursday he fled a police checkpoint in a Revo pick-up but smashed it into a trailer and ended up arrested after crashing off the road. 500,000 Yaba were found in the wreckage. Yesterday police were taking the suspect to Kamphaengphet Hospital for a Covid test. Six hours later - and now even more badly injured from the escape - he was found hiding about 2 kilometers away. Around 100 police using air surveillance were mobilized in the search. Now it was confirmed that the suspect - not named in the Thai Rath article - has Covid.
