Less expenses?

Do they get a  legitimate "reward"( not a self awarded one)  for the recovery from the insurance company or as they do with the cars and import tax goods, get to buy the goods cheaply?

Well from what the shop "says" was stolen, to what the police "say" was recovered it's hard to determine.
