Hi :o

I would like to register a Thai DomainName for my future website.

Can someone tell me if it's possible to register a "www.xxxxxxxx.TH" domain?

I mean a domain name ending with .TH only.

I checked some Thai hosting providers and all they seem to offer is a .CO.TH domain.

Thanks,

Correct- must submit business registration paperwork, and the URL must be based around your company name.

Thanks for helping me, guys :D

Seems you are right.

This is from the ThaiNic webpages:

"Your registered .co.th domain name must be the same as the company/organization name or the abbreviation of the registrant and you must send a copy of Por Por 20 (Certificate of Value Added Tax Registration), Tor Kor 0401 (Certificate of Company/Partnership Registration) and/or other related documents to ThaiNIC™"

OK, I know what to do now.

Thanks again :o

You can (maybe) get an '.in.th' domain. The '.in' part means individual and is open for any individual Thai. However, I don't know how much documentation is required from a non-Thai to qualify. In case you run a serious online business, you probably wouldn't like this anyway inasmuch that '.in.th' indicates a personal website. (Your assumed Thai customers wouldn't be the slightest put off by a '.com' domain anyway).
