hey guys,i would like to ask the current price of psp and a 4 or 8gb memory stick in pantip and mbk.how much for the value pack and for the modified one which i can play games on memory stick.and is there anywhere else cheaper besides those two places?thanks in advance.

Recent prices I've seen:

Value Pack 8,300

I haven't seen 8 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo cards here, but 1, 2 & 4 GB are widely available. I can't remember the pricing.

Typically a vendor charges 500 baht for modding (3.40E A) but might include this in the purchase price of a new system.

I think there are more, and better, shops at MBK but the best shop is Hamoto Game but it is a bit out of the way (Rama 9, soi 41).

Hey, ya make sure you understand, there is no such thing as a modded psp and dont let anyone sell you a "modded" psp at a jacked up price. Its simply a hacked firmware that takes all of 30 seconds to install (if you know what you are doing) on your psp and it allows you to play homebrew, psp games and even ps1 games, you can get it online easy and with directions but there is a small risk of destroying your psp if you are bad at following directions. They sell them at MBK with the hacked firmware for around 7000 or 8000 baht last time I checked.

If you plan to install the firmware yourself, go online and research it BEFORE buying the psp.

I thought I was smart and went to Japan to buy an original 4g sony memory stick pro duo for 6000 baht.... then came back and found out that the copies here work fine and are FASTER for only 4000 baht..... dangit. Faster for significantly less money, that hurt.

thank u very much for the response.i do downgrade and install custom firmware myself so i just need to buy a psp value pack with the appropriate firmware version.it is better to buy an original memory rather than the fake ones in terms of reliability.
