Seeking info on current available options to extend stay

Hi again TV community. I'm currently 20 days away from the end of my TR visa extension, so I'm looking for options to extend my stay for a month or 2. Is it possible to apply for a covid extension at Cheangwattana leading up to the 26th of May? I arrived in February 2022, so I'm wondering if I'll be granted a covid extension. Apologies if this topic has already been well covered. Cheers

So you arrived on a 60-day tourist visa, and you took your one authorized 30-day extension?

 

At this time, the only available extension would possibly be the 60-day covid extension program. It runs until May 24th.

 

So when you're close to that date, slog on out to Chaengwattana, counter J, and see if you can apply for one.

 

Worst case they'll say no and you leave when your current stamp is up.

Best case they'll say yes and you'll get another 60 days.

OP, so yes you have obtained a 30 day extension.

You can apply for a covid extension just prior to May 25.

I tried to apply for a Covid extension over a month ago and was told I need to get proof  from Australia embassy as to why I couldn’t travel back. 
As countries r opening up now without Covid test. They are slowly making it harder.

The OP will be dealing with CW.

Shouldn't have an issue.

Hua Hin is another office that was requiring letter from your embassy and would not accept the affidavit.

Some USA friends confronted with this paid 5k baht each for this to go away (agent).

Plenty of "we do it our way" immigration offices in Thailand.

Stop the messing around & go to an agent. Their not that expensive. Save your own time & possibly some cash & just let them sort it for you. I've been here for twenty years & even I had to succumb to the agents a couple of years ago. Just wish Id have done it sooner.

I'm sure the OP is aware of that option. Cost approx 6k including extension fee. 

He can obtain one himself up till May 25 if he wants.

He entered on TV and has has 30 day extension.

Now applying at CW for a covid extension.

Please direct me to ONE recent post of someone with same situation refused a covid extension.
