Mr Meeseeks Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Quote Armed with guns, swords, knives, axes and metal rods, the protesters stormed the NBT office on August 26th. Several employees were held at knifepoint and ordered to cease the broadcasting of news. The protests culminated in a three-month seizure of Samak’s office and a weeklong siege of Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports. Puts to bed the myth that the Yellow Shirts were not armed or violent. These were the original thugs that showed the reds how to get the job done, costing the country billions in lost revenue due to the airport takeovers and almost caused a war with Cambodia. 1 2 1
