hi guys!

I'm thinking about buying a psp but I'm not so sure about the prices and whether there are new models (updated versions or something). So I'm here to ask for your suggestions about good places to buy a psp (prices, guarantees - trustworthy!) and also websites where i can find more information about it.

thanks!

pantip or mbk has a great selection, just make sure you look around b4 u leap.

I spent well over a day in Pantip and was not able to locate any seller who had new ones. Second hand ones in new cases, along with second hand memory cards. Ended up buying in Central instead - more expensive but at least a new unit with warranty etc.

If you want a memory stick for it, get it in MBK (B1900 for a 4Gb MS Pro Duo) and make sure the pack is sealed when you get it. (In Pantip they want B3000 for the same memory stick, second hand...)

MBK is the cheapest place I have found you have to shop around though a little stall on the 5th floor (near the food court coupon refund desk) have the PSP value pack (PSP, battery and charger) for 6500bt new. It comes with firmware 3.40 OE-A so it has been opened but only to put the best firmware on (enables it to play games from the memory stick, use the Internet browser, add you own home-brews as well as copy your own dvds to play full screen!) Memory cards from here are 2400bt for the 4g completely full with games of your choice! It is a copied card but to be honest I have never had a problem with them and you will pay double for a genuine one from the Sony shop!

If you don't trust MBK two stores worth looking at are:

Gcorners

and

Super-rich

the latter being the best place I have found for accessories (batteries, case, speakers etc.)

Hope this helps.

Or... you could have looked on the second page of this forum, where I just answered a similar question, posted one day before. There is a search function which is very handy.
