JIF Brand Peanut Butter Recall

 JIF brand peanut butter lovers like myself should be warned that they are recalling various varieties of peanut butter.for possible salmonella.

Wrong! I bought two jars in Tops Supermarket at Westgate that are being recalled.

I saw that yesterday they are on sale for 70 baht less.

Coincidence, or they know about the recall and are trying to get rid of them?

The JIF I bought at Makro is within this recall group. I have eaten about half of it but think I will throw the other half away.

I have eaten half of my recalled jar and will continue to eat the rest. I suspect a very small portion of the recalled product is actually contaminated. Probably much safer than street food.

The key is the lot code number - found below the expiration date.

Have a jar and a half. Not bothered to check. Anyone that has eaten street food here should not worry about peanut butter. You should be immune to everything

An extreme blase attitude in my opinion - and I suspect there is more danger in eating at inside restaurants where you don't see the preparation and servings are often less than warm.  Unless your street food is sushi perhaps.
