LaosLover
Red Sovine was the Trucker Dylan. He also did Phantom 309, which Tom Waits used to close his show with. Giddyyap Go mines a similar sentimental child theme, as does Minnie Pearl's answer-record. The somber Trucker's Prayer shows Red to be a man of The Lord. His gospel album was heartfelt, but Red really couldn't sing. My all time fave Red-cut is the wittily titled, The Woman Behind The Man Behind The Wheel.
