Popular Post audaciousnomad
1 hour ago.... Bangkok, 17 June, 2022 – Thailand’s Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) today approved the removal of the Thailand Pass registration scheme and an US$10,000 health insurance requirement for foreign visitors, effective 1 July, 2022. Both requirements were initially removed for Thai nationals from 1 June, 2022. From 1 July, 2022, foreign nationals are only required to show proof of either a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result within 72 hours of travel. These can be in a print or digital format. Random checks will be made on arrivals at Thailand’s international airports or land border checkpoints (in 22 provinces). Unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travellers who are random checked and who are unable to show proof of a pre-arrival negative test will be required to undergo a professional ATK test at the point of entry. https://www.tatnews.org/2022/06/thailand-pass-registration-scheme-to-be-lifted-from-1-july-2022/ Edited June 17, 2022 by audaciousnomad 2

I always get travel insurance from a company in Aus to cover time from departure to arrival back again. Wonder if the companies currently offering "travel and covid 19 insurance" from Thailand will be still operational and able to cover the needs should they arrive in the future as they tend to be rather competitive in their policy pricing. Especially when time in Thailand goes over the visa exempt 30 days......... maybe 45 days by November if we are lucky from what i hear. Planning to come back early November. We pushed it back a couple of months hoping things would improve, so good news for us and many others I'd imagine.
