Mark Carney wins race to succeed Justin Trudeau as Canada's PM
The National Post is owned by PostMedia which is owned by a USA Republican Party leaning hedge fund that is an enemy of most Canadians. Its sister publication is the National Enquiry. It's debateable about which has more accurate reporting. Peterson's opinions are as indicative of most Canadians as it is of his fellow faculty members at the University of Toronto. No one knows him in this country. He plays to a Yank audience by going on Rogan and such. The Tories in Canada are led by a pipsqueak called pee-wee Pierre. Someone who has never had a job outside of politics. People see him as a Trump clone. Once it became clear that Trudeau would not be running again Tories dropped 10 percentage points in the polls. Right now the smart money is on the re-election of the Liberal Party. Personally I'm a social democrat so I could not vote for the Tories or the Liberals will be happy to see the economist win over the Trump disciple -

Testing water supply?
Trumpmeter, good one. The main risk with tap water is oocysts such as giardia and cryptosporidia, which are unaffected by chlorination, removed by filters, killed stone dead by boiling. I don't know about here, but giardia is endemic in North America. A former boss of mine acquired giardiitis after a visit to Chicago. Extremely debilitating, and it took specialists in Australia almost a year to diagnose what it was. -
