77kaoded reported that a female factory worker parked her car on Suksawat Road in Phrapadaeng, Samut Prakan, before a man was caught on CCTV crossing the road and smashing the windshield with what looked like a lump of the kerb.

Phrapadeng police were alerted yesterday afternoon by 24 year old Sariya from Khon Kaen.

She had CCTV from the previous night. The footage showed a bare chested man aged 35-40 was the culprit.

Sariya kindly showed cops her Yaris. Plus the 20 kilogram lump about 60 cm in length that had been used to smash it up.

It had happened at 3 am.

Police took pictures and promised to investigate as Sariya did all the necessary pointing for the media.

It really sucks when something happens to you even if you have first class insurance its hassle. People should just keep from other peoples property. Too bad there are too many idiots in this world.

"Police took pictures and promised to investigate as Sariya did all the necessary pointing for the media."

Some people might regard this comment as unprofessional and supercillious. A young woman was the victim  of a crime, a distressing crime. Yet the editorial  staff think it's funny.

It's a cheap laugh at somebody else's  distress.

Does the victim of the crime know the staff on ASEAN now are taking the p*** out of her?

Do the proprietors of The Nation or the senior staff of  ASEAN now know about this kind of abuse.

Par for the course when Asean Now is doing the reporting. It was the same when people's houses were falling apart the other day because of construction next to them. Ridiculing people in distress for some cheap chuckles is insanely unprofessional and distasteful.
