At 8 this morning my Bangkok bank app worked, at 10:30 it didn’t but at 11:30 it did and still is. 

Had problems Wednesday with ttb, Thursday intermittent had to make multiple attempts to do anything as it woukd drop out.

 

3 banks at the same time smells of a cyber attack or hacking issue ? Maybe

 

Kasikorn no issues so just switched over to them, a clear example of not keeping all your eggs in one basket ????

It's 6:30 on a Saturday morning and nothing works for me at Bangkok Bank online!

App login fails silent after some spinning wheel.

That's more than a payday overload.

The only thing that works is the quick balance function.

Got 2000 Baht transferred from Kasikorn and it's added.

Seems the "core" works.

 

Will there be a rush to the branches? Empty ATMs?

 

Kasikorn and SCB were OK.

Yes, although it won't pay out where employee fraud is involved!

When I saw my BB app was  not working, I simply came back later and it was fine.

Bank transfer from the US went in with no issues on yesterdays time.  Sent from the US just after midnight by 9 am in the bank.  I do not use the faster service of Wise becuase of the higher fees, my bank in the US only charges me 25 USD for a wire transfer, and K-Bank only takes a max of 800 Thb. so the total comes to less than the almost 70 USD wise would charge me.  Luckily I only send major amounts every 6 months and then if a special need arises transfer some more during the month.  Never have I had a problem with K-Bank.
