webfact Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Picture: Thai Rath Police in Cha-Am, Phetchaburi - a normally quiet seaside town about 200 kms south of the Thai capital Bangkok - are investigating a brutal murder of a 75 year old lady in her house yesterday. At 1.30 pm female police lieutenant Thanaporn Matsayawanichkul was alerted about the attack at a house at the end of Jimphol Road in Cha-Am sub-district of Cha-Am. Police and rescue teams found the victim just inside the house that is next to an overgrown area. Picture: Thai Rath It was a bloodbath. There were bloodstains outside by a seating area and inside the house on floor and walls. There was evidence that the victim had been dragged. She had 20 stab wounds to her chest, left arm, stomach and back including a very serious wound to her chest. Some things, as yet unspecified in the Thai Rath article, had been stolen. The victim's daughter, 39 year old Yok said that she was sick and had been sleeping with her father in an inside room. She got up at noon and discovered the horror of what had befallen her mother. Picture: Thai Rath CCTV showed a slim and tall man, in a long sleeved outfit, head covering and long pants enter and leave the property. There was a bloodstain on a wall leading out from the property to the overgrown area. Pol Col Kan Thamkasem said that police had surrounded the immediate area and believe that the murderer is a local man. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-07-06 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. She should not have said that....... someone who knew the house as there's a dog ,which should have been barking, overkill ,might have had beef with the family, or high on YaBa , not a normal burglar , people, dog in house. hope the police find him,the CCTV should help regards Worgeordie 1

RichardColeman Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Going to have to assume they were dirt poor if the 39 year old daughter is sleeping in the same room with her father. And Dad not getting out of bed until after noon ? 1 1

The photos show a house that doesn't appear to be the home of the "dirt poor". 4

Sorry, but if i had a bed ridden father and was ill myself I would definitely sleep in another room for his safety in not catching an illness

As Holmes explains: "I had grasped the significance of the silence of the dog, for one true inference invariably suggests others.... Obviously the midnight visitor was someone whom the dog knew well." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventure_of_Silver_Blaze 2
Purdey Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Is it normal for "dirt poor" people to have CCTV at home? Sounds suspicious. 1
ikke1959 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Strange story... The dog not barking, so supposed it is somenbody he knows. Even with sleeping pills you can sleep deeply, but someone stabbed 20 times will scream I suppose.. and nobody heard anything?? Why call the police at 1.30 as you open the door and see what happened at night... Rip for the victim, but there are a lot of answers to be given for many questions. 1
