No, it seems to be you trying to drag the thread off-topic.

Nice to know that serial petty criminals and drugs users have civil rights, what about the rights of innocent people who are the victims of people like Floyd? Sentence totally over the top for political reasons.

Care to elaborate? What political reasons gave Chauvin an "over the top" sentence? Which innocent people did Floyd hurt?

The pregnant woman he robbed sticking a gun in her belly the best known, but a string of other offences, overdosed the week before his suicide by cop, decides to pass fake notes while out of his head when probably on the way to the morgue anyway.

Floyd was served 4 years in prison for his offenses.

And of course they don't really mean it when they say;

"Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes."

Please provide empirical evidence that conclusively proves BLM is not sincere in its mission statement.

Erm, that’s what you’d like the topic to be about.

But it’s not.

Under the Constitution everyone in America has rights.

For political reasons you think this cold blooded murdering cop has received a an over the top sentence.

We got that.

One of the founders spent $3 million to purchase 4 luxury homes. Plus $6 million to purchase a VERY nice home of 6500 square feet with donations to the BLMGNF.c

But hey, at least you admit the organization exists. That is a step in the right direction...

You appear to have not answered my request.

Further, their very mission statement is premised on a lie, that Trayvon Martin's killer was a murderer who was set free. Not true. Hi did kill Trayvon, but it wasn't murder, as his trial proved. Their next big case, Michael Brown, was the same.  All hype and no basis in reality.

Instead of worrying about State violence against black people, they should worry about the biggest perpetrator of violence on African Americans- OTHER black people.

I asked for empirical evidence. Please provide it…

So let’s forget State violence against Black people shall we?

Of course not. But put it in perspective. According to the Washington Post’s database, polics killed  14 unarmed Black victims and 25 unarmed white victims in 2019.  The number of unarmed Black shooting victims is down 63% from 2015, when the database began. There are about 7,300 Black homicide victims a year. The 14 unarmed victims in fatal police shootings would comprise only 0.2% of that total.

That is what I mean by perspective.

But BLM are campaigning against police killing Black people.

In the context of that campaign the only data that matters is how many Black people the police kill.

Also note, it wasn’t until The Guardian newspaper and the BLM movement campaigns that US police forces started systematically recording the race of people killed by the police.

So, they are campaigning against the killing of 14 unarmed black people by police. Yet the other 7,296 black people who were murdered? Meh.  Kind of tells you something about the organization, doesn't it?

Yes, it tells us something about their objectives.

Just like your posts tell us about your own.

Quite, a nasty piece of work all round, turning his life around by overdosing on meth and fentanyl while committing fraud and not cooperating with the Police, what a hero!

So apart from ranting, what do you suggest? That Chauvin should have been forgiven?

And that’s all we might ever have been told about him, except for the fact someone video recorded his cold blooded murder by a ‘cop’.

So let’s all get outraged that the cold blooded murdering cop has been served Justice.

Sounds like a reasonable sentence. Chauvin was clearly out of his depth and worried about how to control a much larger, much stronger man who was obviously high on something.

You need to re-watch the video.

If you struggle with that, refer to the jury findings.

I DID watch it. What part did I get wrong?
