I haven't been the same since my 2nd Moderna jab. Since then i got Covid, a 3rd Moderna jab and have long Covid.

Its down now to people to make their own choices, for those who are or feel they are at risk, then as with the yearly flu jabs, they can decide on a booster or other precautions. Letting those at risk groups know that a potential large wave is coming is just basic responsible health advice.

It is not so much COVID-19 which I fear - vaccinated thrice with Pfizer (next booster in 2 months), and I wear 2 masks when I go out - but, I worry about long COVID.  Two friends (one each in Australa and the USA) and 3 of my former students (young healthy people on their 30s and 40s) have had long COVID, and 4 still have symptoms and cannot function as they did pre COVID-19 infection (6-18 months post infection).

 

So, if you decide to ignore what you take to be "fake evidence", up to you; on the other hand, if you question the "evidence" and accept it is being essentially valid and take precautions, then wise you.

Were the people that for long COVID vaccinated?

There is a giant problem with covid that is overlooked already for 2 years, and it's so obvious !

Besides the mouth and nose, there is another spot on the body that expels air and possibly little particles of moist that could lead to infections.

Some people cover this with jeans, or skimpy clothing in warmer countries such as Thailand, but as we all know jeans don't stop the virus.

 

It's time for specially constructed underwear with a build in medical grade mask system for the final opening, only then are we safe !

Unfortunately booster shots are difficult to get in many parts of Issan.  I'd go now if a MRNA booster was available within 200 kilometers. 

 

A few minutes of your time beats 10 days of feeling ill or worse.

 

That's all we have until the newer vaccines arrive.

 

 

And being Thailand that'll probably be much longer than other countries especially with this government.

It's not so much ignoring as getting on with one's life. This thing has wrecked the world through governmental overreaction and controlling agendas much more than the virus itself. People can be cautious, but if governments are talking about lockdowns and school closures again then we may as well as just pack it all in and let the monkeys takeover because it ain't going anywhere. There will always be stories of death and hardship--it happens with or without this virus. S happens.

Thanks,  I am boosted, not against vaccination or masks but against paranoia created by these so called specialist to drive Junta's agenda of emergency decree forever. Now we have prevention (masks, vaccination) and therapeutics like Paxlovid etc so let people decide how they want to live. No one stopping anyone to use mask if they like or avoid congested places but forcing people after every minor mutation of virus is nothing but a power show.

Are you imagining a political class wandering the halls of parliaments drunk with power and revelling in telling people how to live their lives? The historical record is that politicians typically have rejected medical advice to pander to people like you. When Australia opened up and cases flared the economy plumetted because people didn't want to get infected.

Its almost like a game amongst the "expert"  "community" to see who can come up with the most scary and horrendous scenarios and its a game they can't lose because non of them ever get called out when their predictions fail to come true

The problem with your analysis is that people don't want non experts to "crawl out of the wooodwork" and make predictions which they pulled out of a dark place.

As long as they have a white coat and a face mask any body can be an expert !  People may not want these predictions but they are getting them daily..The media of course loves it as "fear" is the best click bait there is after "sex "
