snoop1130
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is gearing up to cope with overflows from the Chao Phraya River, as a result of high tides which may flood low-lying residential areas in the capital, from the end of this month and into early August. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said today (Wednesday) that Bangkok is largely protected by an 88km of floodwalls along the river, but there are more than 20 gaps in the wall, which need to be plugged with sandbags before the arrival of the high tide. He pointed out that there are a few vulnerable areas, such as Talad Noi and Song Wat in the Chinatown area, which flood easily when the tide is high. xtrnuno41
Maybe they should make a pipeline to the Mekong river, as that one is low in water. As China holds back a lot of water, for own gain. It helps 2 ways, less water in BK and more in Mekong, maybe with agreement with Cambodia, Laos. As the electricity production (dams) could go up again, More secured? Besides the eco system which China destroyed could be coming back again. It is better then a zoo. Was checking on biggest pump, but seems "my" country has one. Im flabbergasted. 60000 ltr/second, 5,364 Hp. Looks like this: Guiness World Records holder. World’s most powerful water pump with flow rate of 60,000 litres/second Edited July 28, 2022 by xtrnuno41 additinal txt
